How to Go to JPO from Singapore (2026 Guide)

How to Go to JPO from Singapore (2026 Guide)

Johor Premium Outlets from Singapore is not a City Square hop. The mall sits in Indahpura, Kulai — north of Senai, on the PLUS side of Johor.

If you are searching how to go to JPO from Singapore, the decision is which hall you cross, and how you get the bags home.

The short answer, in five lines
  • JPO3 after Tuas if you travel light and can hit one of four departures.
  • JPO1 after JB Sentral if you are already coming through Woodlands. JPO2 ended on 1 August 2026.
  • CW7 is not the outlet bus.
  • Self-drive only if the car is already VEP-ready and you want the boot.
  • SGMYTAXI C&J Stay-in-car if the return bags are the point — our service, not every private car.

This page stays on how to get to johor premium outlets, the jpo shuttle from singapore people think exists, and a jpo day trip singapore clock. Store lists belong on the mall. Route quotes live on Singapore to JPO. Already in Johor Bahru, use JB to JPO.

Papers: border crossing checklist. Checkpoint hours: best time to cross. Bus times move. Verify with Causeway Link before you travel. The mall’s own hours are 10:00–22:00 daily.

How to get to Johor Premium Outlets

The cheapest way to JPO from Singapore is a bus seat. The painful way is the same seat at 21:30 with four paper bags and a missed last coach.

JPO1 from JB Sentral

North Singapore, light bags. Four departures. RM 4.50. Not point-to-point.

Kulai, not Johor Bahru city

Kulai outlet from singapore is a map fact. The mall’s own directions page says the Second Link path is Tuas, then Exit 304, then Exit 302A. Woodlands goes through Sultan Iskandar, Johor Bahru city, PLUS, Exit 253, then the same 304 and 302A.

Tuas

Skip the city

The shorter drawing if you start in the west and do not need JB city at all.

Senai

5–10 minutes

Only if you already landed in Johor. Not a reason to fly from Changi for an outlet afternoon.

Which checkpoint, in one paragraph

Tuas is the default when you do not need Johor Bahru city. Woodlands still wins when you are already in the north and the Causeway is the quieter hall that hour — then you pay the city crawl before PLUS. Hour-by-hour crowding: best time to cross.

JPO shuttle from Singapore: what actually runs

There is no frequent mall bus from an MRT station to the village door. CW7 is a Second Link cross-border bus, not the outlet coach. The outlet buses are JPO1 and JPO3. JPO2 ended on 1 August 2026.

Coach bay after a Malaysia land checkpoint, passengers from behind
The mid-2026 timetable, and why the last bus misses closing time

Published pattern from Causeway Link listings. Confirm the week you go — this table has already been cut once.

  • JPO1, JB Sentral → JPO: 09:00, 12:20, 15:40, 19:00. Fare RM 4.50. Return from JPO: 10:40, 14:00, 17:20, 21:00.
  • JPO3, CIQ Second Link → JPO: 09:00, 12:00, 15:00, 18:00. Fare RM 6. Return from JPO: 10:30, 13:30, 16:30, 19:30.

Both are about four trips a day. Miss the bay and you wait for the same bus to come back. Payment has been cash, ManjaLink, and card. Do not assume an EZ-Link tap works on the Malaysia-only leg.

JPO1 stops through Tampoi, Skudai, and Senai. From 20 January 2026 it skips The Commune Kulai. JPO3 is the direct one, from the bay after the Second Link arrival hall. You cannot walk into Tuas.

If you miss both, BAS.MY J30 from JB Sentral toward Kulai, then a short Grab from around BSN Senai, is a patch — often 5–10 minutes. Grab does not pick you up at an HDB in Tampines for a cross-border JPO run.

The last JPO1 leaves the mall at 21:00. The last JPO3 leaves at 19:30. The mall closes at 22:00. Shop until close and you have already missed the public bus.

For the Woodlands hall walk, use how to go to JB from Singapore. That page is the Causeway. This page is the Kulai leg after it.

Self-drive to the outlet village

Self-drive wins when the car is already Malaysia-ready and you want the boot: VEP, insurance the Malaysian side accepts, a Touch ’n Go with credit, and a driver who still wants the wheel after three hours of shops.

North-South Expressway exit toward Kulai and Johor Premium Outlets
Exit 304, then Exit 302A

Follow the mall’s exits, not a 2019 forum. After Tuas, stay on the Second Link roads to Exit 304, then Exit 302A. After Woodlands, you are choosing the city first. Parking rates belong on the board at the gate.

Fuel in Singapore before you leave if you hate the first Malaysian station queue. A Sunday 17:00 departure from Kulai plus a Tuas queue is how a quick JPO run becomes dinner in the car.

Booked car — when the bags are the point

This is the singapore to jpo taxi search once there are four people, a stroller, or a return that will not fit on JPO1.

Open car boot with plain shopping bags at an outlet car park
Our Stay-in-car, the from-price, and our Tuas Starex note

SGMYTAXI C&J runs it as a booked vehicle, not a street hail.

  • Door to the village. HDB, hotel, or Changi, then the JPO entrance you name — not JB Sentral unless you asked for Sentral.
  • Fixed quote. Fuel and tolls sit inside the number. Published Singapore–JPO pricing starts from about SGD 80 per vehicle. Confirm on the route page or WhatsApp.
  • Stay-in-car is our service, not a public-road rule. On our sedan / Innova / Alphard bookings, passengers typically remain seated at both halls. A random Malaysia taxi, another operator, or your own car can still be asked to alight.
  • Starex on our Tuas jobs. If we dispatch a Hyundai Starex via Tuas, plan to alight. That is our fleet procedure, not a published ICA / Immigresen rule. Follow the officer in front of you.
  • Child seat: we no longer supply child seats. Bring your own at no charge. Say how many large bags you expect on the way home.

A booked car does not replace passports or MDAC. Booking: How to Book. Status answers: FAQ.

Starting in Johor Bahru, use Johor Bahru to JPO — from about MYR 90 per vehicle, about 30–45 minutes.

A JPO day trip that still gets you home

JPO day trip singapore is a transport clock wearing a shopping costume.

Opening

10:00

A Tuas car that leaves around 08:00 can be near the door on a quiet weekday. A 09:00 JPO3 is the public version, plus two halls.

Closing

22:00

The last public coaches leave earlier. Shop until close and the cheap seat is already gone.

When the bus still wins the arithmetic

Two adults with empty daypacks on a Tuesday: JPO3 or JPO1 is a fair fare. A family that will walk out with shoes, a stroller, and cabin bags: per-head, the booked car often closes the gap on the way home, which is the only direction that matters.

Weekday mornings are the quiet village. Weekends and school holidays are the car park. The checkpoint calendar lives on best time to cross.

What not to book

Changi–Senai for the outlets

Senai really is 5–10 minutes from the door. The flight and the bag belt are not a shopping day.

CW7 or JPO2

CW7 is not the outlet bus. JPO2 stopped on 1 August 2026. Ask for JPO1 or JPO3.

A street taxi that “does Malaysia” from a Singapore mall is not a Kulai plan, and it is not Stay-in-car by default.

Which way fits you in 2026

There is no single winner. There is a best match.

You will buy more than you can carry

Book SGMYTAXI C&J in a sedan, Innova, or Alphard if you want our Stay-in-car clearance. The return bags are the product.

Light bags, west side, 09:00

Tuas, then JPO3. Last return 19:30. Recheck the bay the night before.

Light bags, already in the north

Woodlands, JB Sentral, JPO1 at RM 4.50. Last return 21:00. You still change buses.

Already in Johor Bahru

Use JB to JPO, not a Singapore bus. If the car is VEP-ready, drive: Exit 304, then 302A.

Check ICA and Immigresen before you travel. The timetable belongs on Causeway Link. The 10:00–22:00 clock belongs on the mall site.

FAQ

What is the best way to go to JPO from Singapore?

For a shopping return with real bags: an SGMYTAXI C&J booked car via Tuas, our Stay-in-car in a sedan / Innova / Alphard. For two adults with daypacks who can hit a slot: JPO3 after the Second Link, or JPO1 after JB Sentral. There is no useful Changi flight.

How long is Singapore to Johor Premium Outlets?

Off-peak, a car is often 45–90 minutes door to door. Buses add two halls and a second vehicle. The mall is in Kulai, not JB city.

Is there a direct bus from Singapore to JPO?

Not from an MRT platform to the village door. You cross, then take JPO1 (JB Sentral, RM 4.50) or JPO3 (CIQ Second Link, RM 6). JPO2 stopped on 1 August 2026. CW7 is not the outlet bus.

How much does Singapore to JPO cost?

The Malaysia legs are the published RM 4.50 and RM 6, plus the crossing from Singapore. A booked car starts from about SGD 80 per vehicle, fuel and tolls in, on Singapore to JPO. From Johor Bahru, JB to JPO starts from about MYR 90.

Do I have to get out of the car at Woodlands or Tuas?

On the bus: yes, with every bag. On an SGMYTAXI C&J sedan / Innova / Alphard booking, Stay-in-car is our usual pattern — not a rule you can assume from any private car. If we send a Starex via Tuas, plan to alight. Follow the officer in front of you.

If the comparison above points to a door-to-door car, get a fixed quote — fuel and tolls included — on WhatsApp or Singapore to JPO. Starting in Johor Bahru, use JB to JPO. For papers, the border checklist. For the wider JB menu, how to go to JB from Singapore.
